Calendar of Upcoming Shows

| February
24, 25 & 26 - WWRR Hockessin Art Show |
| This
art show is a fundraiser for the Wilmington & Western
Railroad and will be held at the Hockessin Memorial Hall
at Rt. 41 and Yorklyn Roads, Hockessin, DE. Hours
are Friday evening 6pm to 9pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm and
Sunday 11am to 4pm. General admission is $3, children under
12 free. You can also enjoy a train ride, the local
train will be departing every hour on Sat. and Sun.,
tickets are $5. This show features 28 artists, each of
whom will have a booth area. I will be exhibiting

Fridays Throughout the Year- Howard Pyle Studio Group Show |

As a member of the Howard
Pyle studio group, I will be exhibiting a few originals in
their show at the historic studio located at 1305 North
Franklin Street, Wilmington, DE 19806. Opening night
is during Wilmington's Art Loop night on the first Friday
of the month, 5:30 to 8:00pm, refreshments are
served. Be sure to stop by to see the work by this
talented group of women, all works exhibited are

16, 17 & 18 - DFVA Spring Art Show at Goodstay Center |
| The
Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts will hold an art
show at the Goodstay Center at the University of
Delaware's Wilmington Campus. The address is 2800
Pennsylvania Ave. (Route 52), Wilmington, DE 19806. Turn
in at the traffic light just south of the Tower Hill
School bridge walkway. This show will feature over
70 of the Brandywine area's
outstanding artists. Original artwork, prints, sculpture,
ceramics and jewelry will be for sale. Friday evening's
opening night reception is 5:30pm to 8:30pm and will
feature hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Admission is $5,
with 18 and under free. I will have two display panels of
framed originals and several matted originals and limited edition prints. The
show continues on Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday
11am to 3pm. Proceeds from sales benefit the DFVA's
art education and scholarship programs. The DFVA
awards scholarships to Delaware students pursuing a career
in the arts. Also on display will be the winners of
this year's "Excellence in Drawing" competition
for DE high school students. Come on out and support

28 to May 13 - Yellow Springs Art Show |
| This
is one of the longest running, and most prestigious shows
in the area. Since its inception in 1973, the art
show has become Historic Yellow Spring's most important
fund raising event. I am proud to have my work
juried into this show, as many were juried, for only a few
available openings. All works are originals, and are
hung "salon style" with over 3000 paintings by
180 artists. I will be allowed to bring 4 primary
original pieces, up to 8 miniatures, and up to 20 limited
edition prints. The show is located at: Historic
Yellow Springs, 1685 Art School Road, Chester Springs, PA
19425. Monday to Thursday 11am to 5pm, Friday 11am
to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm. There is a
special Preview Party on Friday, April 27th, for which

8, 9 & 10 - Greenville Summer Art Show |
| The
Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts will hold its
annual Summer Art Show at the Greenville Crossing I
Shopping Center on Rt. 52 (Kennett Pike), Greenville,
DE. Hours are Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday 10am
to 5pm, and Sunday 10am to 5pm. Featuring over 40
outstanding Brandywine Valley artists exhibiting their
original works of art. Each artist displays their
works on one 4 foot by 8 foot panel, which are set up
outdoors under the canopy of the shopping center. There
will also be bins of unframed original artwork. Free parking, free admission.

1 - Woodside Farm Art & Craft Show |
|
Come on out to the farm
for a fun family outing on Saturday, September 1st (rain
date the 2nd)! Woodside Farm's Art &
Craft Show will feature 25 local fine artists and
crafters set up on the farm by Woodside's creamery, from
noon to 5:00. Free samples of Woodside's pumpkin ice
cream will be available. Woodside's fudge, cheeses
and mums will also be for sale. I'll have a booth where
I'll be selling my paintings, prints and cards. FREE
admission.....FREE parking. Each year the vendor's fees
are donated to a local animal charity, this year our
charity is "Faithful Friends"....learn about their
mission and donations will be accepted. Woodside is
located on the corner of Little Baltimore and North Star
Road in Hockessin, DE. Free Admission. |

13 - Jenner's Pond Art & Craft Festival |
|
The Jenner's Pond retirement
community will hold its annual Arts & Craft Festival
on Saturday, October 13th at the Alison Building, 2000
Greenbriar Lane, West Grove, PA 19390. The hours are
9:00am to 3:00pm. Admission and parking are
free. I'll have a booth where I'll be exhibiting my
paintings, prints and cards. There will be
activities for children, and refreshments available. Free
Admission. |

2nd to 30th - Small Works of Art Show |
|
The Delaware Foundation for
the Visual Arts will once again hold its Small Works of
Art Show at the Grace Church Gallery on 900 Washington
Street in Wilmington, De. Members of DFVA, who have
achieved "exhibiting status" can submit up to 4 original small paintings. The small size make these
pieces perfect for gift giving, or for your own collection
of original artwork. The opening night will be held
on Friday, Nov. 2nd from 5 to 8pm, music and
refreshments will be served.

Hardcastle Gallery in
Centerville will be holding its holiday miniature show
called: "Little Artworks - Little Prices"
through January 6th. The opening night reception is

Gallery in Kennett Square, PA, You've Been Framed on Main St. in
Newark, DE and The Big Picture, Hockessin, DE. Prints of my work are also available at
Fast Frames, and The Big Picture. I suggest you call
the gallery first to see if they carry the piece you are looking
for. I keep an inventory of all prints at home, and you may
stop by my home gallery...just call first.
The Landenberg Store carries my Landenberg scenes, and Woodside Farm
will be carrying my prints of their farm. If an original
painting is at a gallery, it is noted next to the picture on this
